Symphonic Holidays

Da Capo Orchestra & Travel offers musicians from around the world opportunities to play at an advanced level while enjoying holidays in relaxing and inviting places in Southern Europe. They combine the comforts of Mediterranean life with their essential mission: bringing together people who share a passion for music plus excellent food.

Sadly this year many of their projects have been cancelled but working with Shakespeare Sinfonia, Symphonic Holidays created a unique performance of part of Mendelssohn’s Midsummer Nights’ Dream music.  Musicians from Europe, Australia, the USA, the Far East and Europe came together under the baton of David Curtis for this on-line performance, first streamed on Sunday, 21 June, Midsummers Day and the day of the French Fête de la Musique:
